Brief Summary of Reports
Individual Reports
CSM –Certified Survey Number, name of surveyor, quarter location, section town and range, and municipality (uses Certified Survey Map layer - layer must be turned on).
EMS Locations – Name, site address (uses EMS Locations layer - layer must be turned on).
Fire Department – Location, fire department code, site address, mailing address (uses Fire Departments layer - layer must be turned on).
Municipality Info – Name and phone number for officials, clerks and assessors (uses Municipality Information layer - layer must be turned on).
Police Department – Name, site address (uses Police Departments layer - layer must be turned on).
Sauk Features – locations of different entities in Sauk County such as churches, schools, airports, hospitals, parks, etc. (uses Sauk Features layer - layer must be turned on).
Section lookup – Quarter quarter location, section, town and range (uses PLSS Section layer - layer must be turned on).
Subdivision – Subdivision name, municipality (uses Subdivision layer - layer must be turned on).
Waterways – type (river, lake, creek), name, location (uses Waterways layer - layer must be turned on).
Zoning - Name of Zoning District, what Ordinance
Number applies and a link to the Zoning Regulations that apply to each District
(uses Zoning layer - layer must be turned on).
Reports based on City and Village Parcels layer and Town Parcels layer
Parcel Info – Basic assessment information, legal description, owner name and site address and acreage.
Land Class – Type of land (agriculture, forest, swamp, etc), acreage
Fire Number Info – Fire number, parcel number, Fire District Code, Ambulance District Code
Reports based on Soils layer
Basic Soils – Basic description of type of soil
Water/Land Cap – Available water capacity (quantity of water that the soil is capable of storing for use by plants) and land capability (the suitability of land for use without permanent damage) for each soil type
Crop Production – predicted yields of different crops that can grow in different soil types
Interpretive Ratings – identifies the limitations that affect specified uses in a particular soil type and indicate the severity of those limitations
Pulp Species – identifies tree species typically used for paper production and productivity of that species.
Softwoods – identifies what soft wood trees will or will not grow in each soil type
Soil Erosion – identifies soil and wind erodibility factors as well as runoff, soil loss and suitable septic systems for each soil type
Soil Permeability – identifies the rate of movement of water through each soil type
Texture Fractions – the average percentage of soil materials like rock fragments, clay, silt and sand that exist in each soil type
High Value Hardwoods – identifies potential productivity of each particular High Value Hardwoods tree species.
Low Value Hardwoods – identifies potential productivity of each particular Low Value Hardwoods tree species.
